  1. Event Setup and Meet Entries Update

    Re-do the entire Event setup, creation, management section; including meet entries and declaration processes.

    This effort will include most of what users are accustomed to within the "Events" portion of your website:

    - Event creation/editing/management
    - Meet setup
    - Meet entries/declarations
    - Relay entries
    - Entry reporting/entry files/times updates
    - Job signups/management
    - Notifications (jobs/declarations)

    We have released interim updates to committing athletes by event and building relays. See TU Updates in the side menu of your TU website for details or the below help articles. We believe these will greatly speed up the process for both.

  2. Allow Multiple Accounts to be associated with a swimmer.

    This would allow divorced/separated parents to be able to sign their children up for events. Especially for parents that do not talk to each other. Also, allows both parents to have accounts and get the e-mails when using Roster or Billing group to send e-mail.

    We have received quite a few requests for this, and understand that it is important to our users. We are working diligently to understand all the possible scenarios to ensure we deliver the right functionality.

  3. Allow customization of administrative emails

    Allow administrators to customize certain emails that are sent to large portions of the team: automatic billing registration reminder, meet event sign-up reminder, meet job sign-up reminder.
    Some of the current wording of these emails are not completely in line with how every team handles these facets of their program.

    Initially this idea was part of a planned enhancement to the software. Unfortunately that development was sidelined as we worked to improve other areas of the software. I apologize the status of this idea was not updated sooner. We understand that this idea is an important feature and look to the future to be able to deliver customized emails to existing template emails.

  4. Additional admin types; Coach, etc

    Add a security level so that the coaches can change swimmers, take attendance, manage meets, etc without being a super user. Trying to limit access to the financials with too many SU's.

  5. Registration tied into meet jobs

    It would be helpful if registration would not show complete for a family until they have signed up for the required number of meet job and or commitee jobs.

  6. More than 1 level of sub-menus

    Currently, with website design, you can have menus with sub-menus underneath of them. There should be the ability to add at least 1 more (and in a perfect world even more) sub-menus underneath. When a user clicks a menu they would get the sub-menus; and then clicking on a sub-menu would expand out if there were menus under that.

    A good use-case for this are swim results. i'd like my main menu to be 'Swim Results' , and then underneath it the year (e.g., 2010). And then underneath 2010, the individual meets/events. As it stands right now I have to…

    It would be great if we got an email notification when new swimmers were added to lessons, instead of having to check everyday.

  8. In Jobs allow "donation" signups

    The ability to list Concession donations for sign-up. Currently we list these as "job assignments" but it makes for a long list.

  9. Coaching Payroll Hours Function

    Have the ability to use the Coach iPod or iPad as a payroll punch-in/out system. Example, I schedule a coach to work starting at 5:30pm, but it is hit or miss when the coach shows up due to their other job and traffic. If coaches have the ability to come on deck, sign in using the iPod or iPad and then signing out when they are finished coaching then it would give us the opportunity to run reports and email the reports to payroll at the end of the month with the correct financial numbers (hours to dollars earned).

  10. Show event registration deadlines on calendar.

    When event registration deadlines differ from the event date(s), show them separately on the calendars with appropriate links to registration/event information.

  11. Allow coaches to be associated with multiple swim groups for email purposes

    Currently if a team administrator wants to send an email to a specific group it either does not get sent to that group's coaches or you have to send the email to all coaches. Allow coaches to have the groups they coach be tagged to their profile so that they automatically receive all emails sent to that group.

  12. Extract Legal Splits for Use as Official Times

    Search for and use legal splits for meet entries, relays, etc.
    If your swimmer swam a 1650, they also swam a 100, 200, 500 and 1000. These splits should be stored, and if they are best times, should show up as seed times for meet entries.

  13. Multiple User Defined Fields in Online Registration

    I know that this is showing as completed in 2011, but at this point I can only see how to add 1 user defined field at the account level and 1 user defined field at the member level. I'd like to be able to add multiple user defined fields at both levels. A link to a Google Form works, but too often users skip past it no matter how big and bold you make it.

  14. board member profiles

    On the page where coaches are listed with pictures and bios, can we please have the ability to do the same with board members? It would be nice to be able to display a picture and bio of each board member along with their contact info, just like the coaches appear.

  15. Allow options for emails to be added to News or Email Center

    There are so many different places to email from now and no way to coordinate them all. I have people emailing from the whole team from everywhere now and I have to try to track them all and manually copy them to News. Could you please have all emails have an option to be included in the email center and/or the News list.

    Ability to create a report that shows the swimmers who have jumped from one standard to the next - similar to the time improvement report only jumping from one standard level to the next instead.

  17. Would like the ability to upload document in "News"

    I often have documents, like newsletters, that are short lived news items. Currently, I need to upload the document in documents/images and then link to it to make it a news item. I'd like "News" items to have an optional document upload section in the same way that Events has documents.

  18. Maintain Team Domain Name in URL

    The teamunify.com domain name should never show up in the URL when someone visits a team site. Preserve the team's domain name at all times, even when logged in. It aids brand identity, and also keeps the Google spiders from indexing all of our pages under the TU domain name. We are powered by TU. We are not TU. There's a difference.

  19. Enter miscellaneous charges from spreadsheet

  20. Allow non-athlete USA Registration through profile

    Coaches, board members, officials and teams should be able to complete their USA Swimming registrations through the website. Currently, only athlete registrations appear through the profiles.
